[Case Study] Overall Push-Pull Ventilation in a Welding Factory
Dust collection of welding fumes in a welding factory with push-pull overall ventilation! Introducing case studies.
At Company M in the metal products manufacturing industry, fumes were lingering in the welding factory, creating a poor working environment. As a result of guidance from the labor standards inspection office, the installation of local exhaust systems became necessary. Welding operations were being conducted throughout the entire factory, and due to the scattered locations, the amount of ductwork required for local exhaust systems became very large. Therefore, it was proposed to ventilate the entire factory using a push-pull method. However, calculating the airflow was challenging, and there was a possibility of failure. In this construction project, fans were installed for both the push and pull systems. However, the airflow of the push-pull system could be disrupted by crosswinds entering during the opening and closing of shutters. This issue was resolved by creating partitions with vinyl curtains. [Case Study] <Results> ■ Ventilation within the factory was achieved, improving the working environment. ■ A notification of the installation of the equipment was submitted to the labor standards inspection office, and approval was obtained. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
